Our Story
She came into my life with a crash.
No, the other kind!
I had just been rear-ended in my beautiful, lovely black convertible, and was making my way around town, hoping to have the damage repaired. I was shocked at how terrible customer service was - just getting an appointment to have the car looked at was proving to be a challenge!
And then, at the fifth place I went, I was suddenly treated well. They talked to me! The paperwork was immediately printed to be signed! The car was looked at immediately, with no appointment! They even arranged for a car rental, paid by insurance!
"They" was Becky, already hot on the job, having worked there just a single week, and after the most interesting little bit of small-talk ever, I quietly left her a note with my phone number, my email address, and a smiley face.
Guess what? She sent me an email a few days later!!!

I was just doing my job.
A good job at that!
I had just finished day 5 at my new job at Collision Pros, and I was excited to start a new career of helping people who had just been in a car accident. Ben showed up with an attitude typical of someone who's car had just been smashed up.
The service we gave Ben was par for the course, and while we were chatting, the car was assessed for damages, an estimate drawn up, rental car arrangements made, and a drop off for repair date for the following Monday set!
However, because we both saw the light in each other and I was worried about "looking good" at my new job, I asked him for his email address, so we could continue the debate on whether or not we could trust Elon Musk ;)
I gave him a yellow post-it note, and a black ink pen, and I asked him for his email address. Not only did he give me his email address, he included his phone number and a little smiley face, complete with a tongue and drool droplets, saying: "Call me any time!".
Wanting to keep my focus on my career and children, I used to wear a fake wedding ring at work to keep things professional.
For whatever reason, I wasn't wearing it that day and boy, was I SOOOOOO glad!
